Without a complete realtime inventory of connected devices, you can’t be HIPAA compliant; in fact, you’re likely breaking HIPAA rules daily.
In this session, we discussed how health systems are identifying and closing gaps in device security to avoid massive potential fines from failing an audit. We also talked about recent updates to the HIPAA security rule and what the implications are for providers who don’t yet have a complete, updated inventory of all connected medical devices.
