WHAT WE WILL DISCUSS
How often do marketing and IT really collaborate? Building an e-commerce storefront often devolves into a (sometimes frustrating) back-and-forth between business and IT, without enough true collaboration. We want to change that narrative with a roundtable dinner discussion designed to bring IT and business leaders together to discuss new ways of working together to modernize their e-commerce stack.
Most e-commerce platforms are monoliths, not designed to be modular or “composable”. This means business requirements must either adapt to platform limitations, or IT will need to produce a lot of custom code. However, new composable technologies are opening up a third way.
Composability experts from RDA, BigCommerce, and Storyblok will lead a conversation on the transformative potential of composable technologies for building future-ready B2C e-commerce sites and B2B customer portals. Customer expectations that were outrageous 5 years ago are table stakes today, and trying to stay ahead of them with legacy platforms is slow and expensive. This event will guide you through the foundational pillars of composability and the real-world impact on both business and IT.
We’ll bring the newest research from BigCommerce and NRF around AI-powered e-commerce, composable platforms and more.
