Sourcing Elasticity: Scaling Headcount & Tech Infrastructure with Fluctuating Hiring Volumes

Here’s what we discussed:

TA leaders at enterprise companies are in a bind, being forced to add headcount during high hiring volumes only to turn around and lay them off once hiring cools off or opts for costly agencies. So how can you figure out a way to keep things in-house and personnel mainly flat without overworking recruiters or relying on agencies/RPO?

Sourcing is an important function for any company that values building a passive candidate pipeline, but it’s the first role that’s eliminated when HR is forced to cut headcount. Because of this, companies are investing in technologies that automate this process to efficiently and effectively source talent proactively without adding headcount to their in-house teams.

In this virtual roundtable and chocolate-tasting experience, we invited 10 HR executives to discuss how they are managing to ensure they can hire strong candidates (especially technical hires) at a pace that matches business growth targets. Oh, and accomplish all that without increasing TA budgets.
