Here’s what we discussed:

Mobile devices are becoming our first choice for how we communicate, navigate and stay informed. Employees, especially remote employees, are using mobile devices to collaborate with people for work, make business transactions, and access company data. This is forcing security teams to be aware of new threat vectors living on mobile endpoints.

PDF software is often a spend line that comes under consistent scrutiny, despite the large role it plays in the digital transformation journey. The dispersed nature of today’s global teams and user demand for software tools that enable hybrid workers’ productivity appear invaluable – until contract terms and prices with the ‘big brand’ vendors increase.

At this roundtable discussion, we discussed how companies with a growing percentage of remote and mobile-first employees are protecting sensitive company and employee data from increasingly sophisticated cyber-attacks. We explored the mix of policy and technology needed to secure this rapidly expanding attack surface.

Some of the issues we’ll discuss:

  • Remote employees are more likely to use unsecured devices and networks, such as public WiFi, but even home networks are often vulnerable to cyber-attacks. How can enterprises address the expanded attack surface created by the combination of remote work and the use of the public cloud?
  • Traditional enterprise business apps run in secure data centers on servers that organisations control. However, mobile apps used on employees’ devices, whose data is held in the cloud, are deployed to app stores and may be beyond the control of the organisation. How do organisations assess and manage this class of risks?
