Here’s what we discussed:
In the face of inflation and lower disposable income, value is becoming more important to the consumer and affecting brand loyalty. Perceptions of value and likelihood to return are higher for loyalty members compared to non-loyalty members across all industries.
App-specific promotions are a great way to promote loyalty membership, but it’s important to ensure that redeeming deals, points, and rewards is easy for the customer.
In this executive roundtable discussion, we discussed these questions in detail:
- What are retail brands doing in general to maintain customer perceptions of value?
- What are the core pieces of a loyalty program + what makes it successful?
- What tactics are effective at driving loyalty program adoption, participation, and engagement?
- As brands continue to shift more loyalty activity to digital, why should retailers focus more on mobile apps over traditional approaches?
