I think it’s really a must-attend event for CX professionals. I’ve gone to other events in the past and this surpasses all of them.
Consumer Lending: Using Analytics to Increase Loan Profitability and Mitigate Portfolio Risk
Networking Dinner

Here’s what we discussed:
The UK economy appears to be clouded by uncertainty and volatility as we move into the second half of 2023.
Higher inflation (10.1%, well above the target rate of 2%), interest rate hikes (on 11th May 2023 the Bank of England raised the base rate from 4.25% to 4.5%, its highest level in over 14 years), increase in the cost of funds and weakening consumer confidence makes up for a turbulent environment across all branches of consumer lending.
While the cost-of-living crisis is driving up demand for consumer credit, concerns around default rates and high competition from the BNPL sector make banks focus more on bottom-line profitability and the overall health of their loan portfolios. What strategies and tools can help banks achieve these goals?
Earnix – a global leader in pricing analytics and digital decisioning – invites leading banking institutions in the UK to join a roundtable discussion. We talked about the recent events shaping the UK consumer lending market, trends, issues, opportunities, and how to utilize AI-backed analytics and pricing capabilities to increase profitability and create a well-rounded and turbulence-proof portfolio.
Discussion topics:
- Finding the sweet spot for loan pricing in a constantly changing market
- Using pricing to control portfolio risk profile
- Maintaining the balance between volume, profitability, and competitiveness

Talk To Us About Attending Future Events
Here’s what attendees at past events have said:
A lot of other conferences I’ve gone to are driven off a podium, someone presenting me a solution before they understand my problem. Here I have an opportunity to talk to my peers and learn from them.
I’m not part of some enormous crowd out there. I’m getting lot of interaction, hearing from people, their own personal stories. Individual examples of how people are leveraging their CX skills in their industry, in their business, in the work that they do everyday.
Very intimate, Very one-on-one! You are able to really get a lot of candid responses, so we’re getting a ton of value from that and a lot of valuable insights.
