Here’s what we discussed:

IT leaders face increased operational and technology complexity – impeding responsiveness, automation, and innovation.

  • How can we improve managing our diverse IT estate and often siloed IT tool portfolio required to run a modern business?
  • What areas can we advance IT efficiency and cost-saving initiatives across teams and tech stacks?
  • How can we eliminate incomplete, outdated, error-prone and expensive manual workflows across IT domains?
  • Where can we enhance intelligence, user experience and cyber risk mitigation in our hybrid IT and hybrid workplace?
  • Most importantly, how can we fund innovation to advance digital transformation initiatives while keeping the light on?

In this session, we discussed these challenges among your peers. We’ll also explore Enterprise Technology Management (ETM). How ETM can enable CIOs and the IT organization to automate and optimize key business processes across the technology lifecycle – similar to how other business applications that have helped the CIO’s peers to be more successful in their respective functions, such as CRM (quote to cash), HCM (hire to retire) and ERP (procure to pay).

Joining us is Crowdstory founder and author, Vince Vasquez, who interviewed 14 CIO’s from companies like Coca Cola, Johnson & Johnson and Cisco to understand their latest thinking around ETM. Vince has recently published a book on the subject, The Next CIO. Everyone who attends, will receive a signed copy.
