The Great Shift Left: Strategies for Responding to the New Technicality of Privacy
Networking Dinner

Here’s what we discussed:

Privacy as a discipline is changing faster than ever before. With new state laws coming into play, a brand new enforcement agency in California, the slow deprecation of third-party cookies, and the rise of new, powerful forms of generative AI—2023 is already shaping up to be one for the books.

With these new laws and requirements come a host of new and more technical privacy requirements that are challenging existing approaches and risk overwhelming already stretched teams.

In this session, we discussed areas worthy of the most attention and common themes in new regulations and requirements, strategies for fostering deeper relationships with technical privacy teams, and technological considerations when adapting internal privacy and compliance programs.
