I think it’s really a must-attend event for CX professionals. I’ve gone to other events in the past and this surpasses all of them.

Here’s what we discussed:
For many payments processors (PSPs) and merchant acquirers, onboarding can be a less than ideal experience for merchants, causing them to abandon the process. With the global pandemic accelerating the already-existing trend of people starting their own businesses, the need for quick, effective and scalable onboarding is greater than ever before.
Ekata moderated this roundtable, where we discussed the following themes:
- Market trends challenging the status quo of merchant onboarding
- How onboarding micro-merchants and sole-proprietors are different from traditional business
- Pain points of current methods used for merchant onboarding
- Scalable onboarding processes to help make faster and smarter decisions

Director of Market Strategy – Payments at Ekata
Daniel has been working in payments companies for over a decade delivering and bringing to market key strategic products. Setting up a Brazilian acquirer from the ground up to establishing a new digital bank has exposed him to multiple facets of the industry, allowing him to bring a unique perspective to discussions. Perspectives he usually delivers in an easy going manner with a good dose of dry humor peppered with food analogies making the most complex of subjects easy to digest by the audience.

Here’s what attendees at past events have said:
A lot of other conferences I’ve gone to are driven off a podium, someone presenting me a solution before they understand my problem. Here I have an opportunity to talk to my peers and learn from them.
I’m not part of some enormous crowd out there. I’m getting lot of interaction, hearing from people, their own personal stories. Individual examples of how people are leveraging their CX skills in their industry, in their business, in the work that they do everyday.
Very intimate, Very one-on-one! You are able to really get a lot of candid responses, so we’re getting a ton of value from that and a lot of valuable insights.
